First Video Journal from PDA

On Wednesday PDA had their first workshop with the kids in the Mabelle Park, Etobicoke. This is a video of making a model of the park and a presentation of Mabelle Arts, who are doing a wonderful work of creating art and happenings in the community. Next up will be another short video of the kids brainstorming and building design ideas and wishes for furnishing the park!

PDA creates community engaged design projects that improve the community. We do this by holding workshops with communities in need and teaching them how to make and remake things like furniture. Then we take these objects and we put them out into the communities they were made in. We also reach out to the design community and universities to produce objects as well.
