I design and make work in our society that is overcrowded with mass produced objects, I see it as a renegade to hard craftsmanship. The difference is that there is a result of natural beauty and dedication of a man made object.
I create objects that act as a response to modern day industrial processes and how a one-man army can take over. Working with primarily domestic woods, I produce furniture that include unusual shapes that feed unusual thoughts.
For Edmond Place Mark’s winning coffee table was selected by a jury of members of PDA, PARC and Sheridan professors.
